The BNC is excited to welcome Arthur as the Bryant Neighborhood Center’s new Community Engagement Coordinator! Thanks to a renewed partnership with Hilltop Heritage and the support of Tacoma Sunrise Rotary, this new role allows Arthur to spend time on campus as a mentor and support for students—whether it’s being a listening ear at lunch or helping in AVID classrooms, he’ll use these connections to bring back valuable insight to the BNC and shape programs that directly meet the needs of our youth, keeping them engaged both academically and socially.
Arthur is new to Tacoma and eager to dive in. With experience as an AmeriCorps volunteer, a Certified Peer Counselor, and a Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee, he brings compassion, authenticity, and dedication to his work. In his free time, he officiates youth sports across Pierce County and is passionate about holistic wellbeing, fitness, reading, and meditation. We’re thrilled to have him on the team and can’t wait to see the positive impact he’ll make with students and families in our community.
