Trinity Presbyterian Church in Tacoma seeks to hire a Director of Children & Family Ministry for a 20 hours/week position. The Director will lead the faith formation program based in the Godly Play curriculum, for the children from birth through fifth grade. Trinity’s ministry with children is all about “growing authentic, committed and loving followers of Jesus, one relationship at a time.” We do that through our values: Intergenerational Community, Sacred Storytelling, Meaningful Service, Family Faith Formation, Radical Hospitality, and Corporate Worship.
Ideal candidates should be proactive, self-directed, and possess strong organizational and relational skills. We seek a director who has an active personal spiritual life and will lead the children and family ministry with energy and vision. Familiarity with the Godly Play curriculum is desirable.
