Giving to the Annual Ministry Fund: At Trinity, we believe that growing in generous giving is an integral part of our Christian lives - it is a part of our individual and corporate worship. When you give financially to Trinity, you support our annual budget which pays our great staff, makes our programs happen, and pays the utilities!! The annual budget is set by the Trinity Session and reported to the congregation at our annual meeting. You may give on Sundays in the regular collection, or electronically ("Give to Trinity" button below) or as a “Bill Pay” with your financial institution. Non-liquid assets may also be gifted to Trinity through our partnership with the Presbyterian Foundation. To learn more, contact our Business Administrator, Cynthia Stelle in the office.
Giving to the Outreach Programs: Partner with many other individuals, churches, and local foundations to support the important work of our many Trinity Outreach Programs. You can give to Trinity Outreach on a one-time or on-going basis through our website. Some employers will even match a gift to Trinity Outreach through the United Way Donor Voice Program (Trinity’s program number is 111033). For more information contact, Director of Outreach Rod Nash.
Giving to the HERE Capital Campaign: Trinity is in the midst of a 3 year capital campaign to renovate and rehabilitate our historic building on 6th Avenue. The building is old and in need of serious rehabilitiation such as seismic-fit upgrade, new roof, zoned HVAC system (versus our boilers Gus & Gertie), etc. After looking at options of moving to other locations, Trinity discerned that "What we need is HERE" and our commitment to our community in the Hilltop was greater than the amount of work needed on our building. So we invite you to partner with us as we seek to renovate our present facility so that we may stay HERE in the heart of Tacoma.
Confidentiality: Your financial donations to Trinity are strictly confidential. Neither the pastor, session elders, Finance Team or the Church Treasurer is aware of "who gives what." Those counting the Sunday plate offering make a point of "not noticing" who places what in the offering plate. (And remember you can always give online at Trinity's website, tpctacoma.org, for complete invisibility.)The only person who keeps track of financial donations is Cynthia Stelle, Trinity's Business Administrator, who sends out end-of-the-year contribution summaries for IRS tax-deductions.
If you have questions about giving or confidentiality, please contact Cynthia Stelle in the church office (253.272.8819, ext 105). Thanks
