Five March Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm at Trinity (during Middle School youth group), starting March 1st.
We are the first generation of parents to raise digital natives — kids who’d rather text than talk. And, let’s be honest, it’s brutal sometimes. In fact, surveys say that technology is the number one battleground between parents and kids today. Especially since COVID, screens have seeped into every corner of our kids’ lives, and many of us are trying to navigate this unpaved parenthood road alone. We want to be in it together at Trinity, think about the kind of formation we really want to have for our kids, and work towards a world where kids are more captivated by life, than they are screens. We’ll be reading some of the work of Andy Crouch (The Techwise Family), and work through a new curriculum called “Screen Sanity” that helps parents to be equipped as mentors and guides as their children grow up in an increasingly digital world. This group is open to parents/caregivers of children/youth of any age. Facilitated by: Matt & Amber Robbins-Ghormley. Register here.
