Trinity is hosting a bone marrow donor registration drive in honor of Jedd, a Trinity youth battling leukemia. It is thanks to the kindness of a stranger that Jedd will be getting a life-saving transplant donation in December through Be the Match, the national bone marrow donation registry. We are inviting the community to rally around Jedd and pay it forward in his honor. Jedd's journey is far from over and this show of support will help encourage him and his family. AND you could even save a life!
On Sunday, November 19th from 11:30 AM - 3 PM, spend five minutes for a cheek swab and a little paperwork, and you could turn hope into action.
70% of patients who need a marrow transplant do not have someone who is a match in their family. That's 14,000 patients a year who are waiting for someone like you to help save their life. Only 1 out of 430 people who register ever get a chance to donate; the more people who register, the better!
