Maundy Thursday

You are invited to join us next Thursday, April 2nd at 6:30 pm as we share in Communion and a Tenebrae service in commemoration of Maundy Thursday.

While the word, maundy in Maundy Thursday, refers to the "new commandment" given that night by Jesus for his disciples to love one another as he had loved them; tenebrae, is Latin for "shadows" or "darkness", and refers to the gradual extinguishing of candles and the lights during the service.
