Our Vision: The Bryant Neighborhood Center

The cost of the renovation project is $4.7 million, which will include structural upgrades and seismic retrofitting, systems upgrades, a new exterior stair tower, and a renewed community space in the lower level (the Bryant Neighborhood Center), including a new exterior Bryant Neighborhood Center entrance. The Trinity community has already pledged a collective $1.2 million, a generous outpouring considering the economic make-up and size of the congregation. An anonymous gift of $1 million has also been recently given to the HERE FOR GOOD Campaign, helping to move us closer to realizing the vision of the Bryant Neighborhood Center.

The New Center will Provide:

  • Renewed community space for Trinity's education and community support outreach programs
  • Classroom space for both youth and adult programming
  • A revitalized gymnasium
  • Flexible meeting, training, and entertainment spaces to serve as a "neighborhood hub" and gathering place
  • A new visible, welcoming, and accessible 6th Ave entrance
  • A renewed neighborhood identity through the use of the Bryant Neighborhood name
  • A place to welcome community partners such as the Children's Museum of Tacoma, MultiCare, the YMCA, Sound Outreach, and others to offer programs in health maintenance, play, and parenting
